Common questions

Before you book.

What conditions can SwiftDoc treat online?

Our doctors can treat the vast majority of common GP conditions — including colds and flu, UTIs, skin conditions, mental health, anxiety, and more. If your condition requires an in-person examination or is an emergency, we'll let you know.

Are SwiftDoc doctors fully registered?

Yes. All SwiftDoc doctors are registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) and are fully qualified Australian GPs.

How long does a consultation take?

Most consultations are 10–20 minutes. You can join the real-time waiting room for an immediate consult, or book a scheduled appointment at a time that suits you.

Is it bulk billed?

SwiftDoc is not a bulk-billed service. A consultation fee applies. We do not accept Medicare at this time.

Can I get a prescription or medical certificate?

Yes — if clinically appropriate, your doctor can issue an e-script sent by SMS or email, and a medical certificate emailed to you on the same day.
